Our logo of seven women, with the eighth's shadow in their midst, depicts the pain of the lost mothers and daughters and friends. One woman in eight alive today will develop breast cancer... and 43, 000 of us will die of breast cancer this year. The logo represents the seven of us left who must seek answers. The name indicates that, without answers, the statistic will fall to one in seven in our lifetime. Our purpose is to help fund research and the dissemination of information on women's health issues, particularly with respect to the those conditions which are attributed to women's hormones...the so called Women's Diseases.
